Our Turkish Delight is fast becoming one of our top selling creations and now we’ve decided to make it even more delicious by smothering it with creamy Belgian milk chocolate. Irresistible!

Turkish Delight is one of the oldest sweets in the world, with a history going back almost 500 years and a recipe that has remained almost unchanged. There are a few versions of the story of how Turkish Delight, or Lokum, was created. The most romantic is that the Sultan ordered his confectioners to create a unique sweet to keep his harem happy! Lokum eventually made it’s way to the West in the 19th Century via a British traveller and becoming Turkish Delight.

There is no quick way to make ‘proper’ Turkish Delight as the sugar syrup mixture must be cooked slowly with constant stirring. We think the authentic taste is well worth the effort. There are many varieties of Lokum; ours is delicately flavoured with rose and a hint of lemon.

Our Turkish Delight is suitable for vegetarians as it does not contain gelatin. It is not suitable for vegans as it contains honey.

Each box contains 500 grams.
